Motorcycle riding for women: this gift voucher is for beginners and returning riders. At MX-Academy in Schlatt TG, suitable ladies’ bikes for all heights and protective gear in women’s sizes are ready. No licence is needed on the closed track – you can start even without any motorcycle experience.
Step by step onto the motorcycle
Getting started is easy on a smaller motocross bike without a clutch. On the first rides, a coach sits behind you on the bike and gives you tips all the time, until you feel confident. For the first laps there is a very easy, flat track. Once you have mastered the small bike, the coach explains riding with a clutch on a slightly bigger bike – by the end of the day, you ride your first laps on the next bigger track.
You learn riding technique from scratch: balance, cornering, braking and shifting. A hair tie is handy for long hair under the helmet.

The amount is credited when booking a course. A more expensive course can also be booked; the difference is paid when booking. The PDF carries the design of this voucher.
How the course day works
- Welcome on site, a short safety briefing and theory on the basics of motocross.
- The complete protective gear is fitted: helmet, goggles, chest protector, knee protectors, boots and gloves.
- You get a Honda CRF in the right size.
- First attempts in the separate learning zone: pulling away, accelerating, shifting, braking, steering – at your own pace.
- On to the motocross track: the coach rides ahead, shows the lines and corrects your seating position and where you look.
All courses take place at the MX-Academy motocross grounds in Schlatt TG, around 30 minutes from Zurich. There are 4 different tracks on site, including a separate kids track – every group rides on its own track. Please bring long trousers, sturdy shoes and a change of clothes for after the course; everything else is fitted on site.

The PDF voucher carries the “Motorcycling for women – motocross for women” design with a matching photo. On request, an occasion design is added: “Happy birthday!” or “Merry Christmas!”.
Validity, delivery and redemption

Questions and answers
I have never ridden a motorcycle – is the voucher still right for me?
Yes. Beginners are welcome: you start on a smaller bike without a clutch, and on the first rides a coach sits behind you.
Do I need a licence?
No. No licence is needed on the closed track.
Is there gear in my size?
Yes. Helmet, goggles, chest protector, knee protectors, gloves and motocross boots are available in suitable women’s sizes, plus bikes for all heights.
Can I bring a child?
Yes. For children aged 4 and over there are small kids motocross bikes – and the matching kids motocross gift voucher.
Is the voucher suitable for a women’s group or a hen party?
Yes. Hen parties, women’s groups or company events can be booked for up to 30 people.
How is the voucher redeemed?
Online at www.mx-academy.ch: when registering in the event calendar, choose the course and enter the voucher number.
How long is the voucher valid?
Two years from the date of purchase. The expiry date is printed on the voucher.
